- Candle / Wax CareCandle Safety & Maintenance For optimal enjoyment of your Wooden wick candles, adhere to the safety instructions included with each candle. Keep in mind that variations in color, performance, and wick behavior are typical in handcrafted items. Wooden wicks need extra care and attention compared to other wicks. Safety Guidelines for Using Candles • Always burn candles on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable items. • Never leave lit candles unattended. • Avoid touching hot glass surfaces. • Keep the wax pool clean and trim wooden wicks. • Ensure there is proper ventilation when burning candles. • Limit burning time to 4 hours. • Do not put out the flame with water; trim the wick if it starts to smoke. • Handle glass jars with care. • Stop burning when there is only 1/2" of wax left. • Changes in glass adhesion caused by soy wax are normal and do not affect burning. Optimize Your Wooden Wicked Candle for Best Results! • Hold candle at an angle when lighting for 8-10 seconds • Use Bic or USB lighters • Allow wax pool to reach glass edge on first burn • Trim burnt wood on wick to 2" above wax level before each burn • Scrape out wax if wick is over-trimmed • Remove excess ash to restore flame height.
- Candle / Wax CareWax Melt Care Guide Enjoy the delightful aroma of your luxurious wax melts throughout their melt-time by following these care tips: • Store your wax melts in their container in a cool, dry place away from direct light to preserve their color. • Adjust the amount of wax melts based on room size for optimal scent distribution. • Allow the wax melts to fully melt in a well-ventilated area for the best scent release within the first 10 - 20 minutes. • Prevent spills by not overloading your warmers and be aware of your warmer's capacity. • Before melting, remove all packaging from the wax. • Use only tea-light or UL-listed electric warmers approved for wax melts and follow the manufacturer's guidelines. • Never melt wax on a stove or in an unapproved device. • Keep melted wax away from children and pets when unattended. • Clean the wax surface before each use to remove dust or debris. • Cover the cooled wax to prevent dust buildup and fire hazards, enhancing the scent throw and prolonging the melts' life. • Stop using the wax when less than half remains or when it no longer releases a scent to avoid fire risks. • Dispose of used wax by pouring it back into the original container after it cools completely; avoid pouring wax down drains or toilets. • Allow the wax to cool entirely before disposal.
