Candle Safety & Maintenance
For optimal enjoyment of your Wooden wick candles, adhere to the safety instructions included with each candle. Keep in mind that variations in color, performance, and wick behavior are typical in handcrafted items. Wooden wicks need extra care and attention compared to other wicks.
Safety Guidelines for Using Candles
Always burn candles on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable items.
Never leave lit candles unattended.
Avoid touching hot glass surfaces.
Keep the wax pool clean and trim wooden wicks.
Ensure there is proper ventilation when burning candles.
Limit burning time to 4 hours.
Do not put out the flame with water; trim the wick if it starts to smoke.
Handle glass jars with care.
Stop burning when there is only 1/2" of wax left.
Changes in glass adhesion caused by soy wax are normal and do not affect burning.
